Insurance agent by day, writer by night.
I live in the “real world” but I create and escape to imaginary ones whenever I can. I’m a lover of fantasy and writing–not particularly in that order. I’m also a reader, mother, coffee lover, and soon to be self-taught violinist.
I think your blog is inspiring to other bloggers, especially writers, so I’ve nominated you for the Sunshine Award!

Hi, Just curious how your household is holding up under your self taught violin learning? 🙂 I had a teacher and let’s just say the first year was hard on the ears.
I haven’t started yet. I know what kind of violin I’m getting. My mom had one a while back and the cats hated it. I don’t think our cats will like it. My sister will probably ask me to move out. lol How long did it take you to get good?
Depends on who you ask 🙂 My grandmother thought I was good after several months. My violin teacher never thought I was good, mostly because I was a fiddle player, not a violin player. I got to where I could play mostly in tune with making evil squeaking sounds after about 6 months or so.
I just wanted to tell you thanks for following Tolkien Read Through! I hope you will enjoy the future posts! 🙂
